I'm So Happy I Could Slap My Dog

I remember riding along in the truck between my sister and her friend, Kristie when "With or Without You" came on the radio. I was amazed to watch Kristie sing every word with the actions that went with Bono's music video. I specifically remember when he held her hands together when he sang, "My hands are tied..."

I was dazzled to hear him sing so high and hear the guitar clip along in that mesmerizing way. I didn't know it then, but that long haired Irish man would one day steal my heart and bring me close to God. (Good thing I'm Irish. We're almost related.)

I want Jesus to take everything that doesn't fit, shine, speak right, or break for the things of God and renew all those in the image of who He is. He will do it.
